Scott Kelby Hosts Second Annual Photo Walk – Largest Global Social Event for Photographers
TAMPA, FL – May 29 – Scott Kelby, president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and the #1 bestselling computer and technology book author, is pleased to announce his Second Annual Worldwide Photo Walk™ scheduled for Sat., July 18. In just a matter of days, since news spread on Twitter about this event, more than 500 walks have organized across the globe from the U.S. to Portugal, to Russia and Australia, to Japan and Indonesia, double the number of walks from last year’s 241 recorded walks.

Registration is free and open to all photographers – amateurs and professionals. Photo Walk groups are limited to 50 participants per walk and advance registration is required. Prizes will be awarded to the single best photo taken from all the Photo Walk locations chosen by Scott Kelby and the best photo of day from each Photo Walk chosen by the walk leader. Scott Kelby’s Photo Walk is a fun, social photography event where photographers get together for two hours, usually in a metropolitan area or trendy section of a city, to walk around, shoot photos, and have fun with other photographers. Each Photo Walk has a local assigned leader who chooses the route of the walk and the ending place (a local restaurant, pub, or café), where participants have the opportunity to look at each other’s photos from the walk and make new photography friends.
